  1. Initial contact

Reach out to us to begin the process. One of our clinicians will contact you to learn about your concerns, discuss your options, answer any initial questions, and determine goodness of fit.

  2. Patient portal and paperwork

You will receive instructions to set up your patient portal and complete the necessary paperwork, including consents for treatment, intake questionnaires, and billing documentation. This information helps us prepare for your first appointment.

  3. Clinician matching

We match you with a clinician based on your clinical needs and scheduling requirements.

  4. Intake appointment

The first appointment focuses on your background, current concerns, and what you would like to address in therapy. Your therapist will gather information to better understand your needs. You will also have time to ask questions and discuss what to expect from treatment.

  5. Treatment planning

The first few sessions focus on getting to know you and developing treatment goals together. These goals help guide your work with your therapist and can be revisited as your needs change.

  6. Ongoing appointments

Therapy is typically scheduled weekly, at the same time each week. A regular schedule provides predictability, structure, and consistency in treatment.

  7. Adjusting treatment needs

Depending on your needs, the goals and frequency of therapy may be adjusted. These decisions are made collaboratively with your clinician.

  8. Ending treatment

Once your treatment goals have been met, and you feel ready to move forward, you and your clinician will collaborate to bring your treatment to a good conclusion, always with the option of returning to therapy when needed.
